IJWTS- that I think it's time for all CFers to lay down the pitchforks, blame and frustration. Time for a bit more compassion and grace to go around and a little less battle lines being drawn.

IJWTS2- I need Starbucks to be a bit closer to me. I hate living in the country.

IJWTS- I want one of those Edible Arrangements they advertise on top. Every-time I see it, I'm craving chocolate covered strawberries.

How long would it take me to drive those 10 blocks? Because if you live in a major city then it could easily take me just as long to get it as I have to drive now with crazy LA traffic

You know being in Downtown LA today, I have to tell you where I live I wanted our traffic. Downtown LA traffic is nuts. I realized today that I could never live in Hollywood. My breathing changes every time I go there. I don't know how people live there.
Then again people dont know how I live in the ghetto.

I'm picturing all the ones in my area.

Vistory-about 5 mintues,
Sherman Way- 10 mintues
Panorama City- 10 mintues
My favorite in Reseda- about 15.

So not so bad.

Some worrisome posts here... prayers for you, Broken and Novella.






IJWS: I was watching tv tonight (which is rare, but there were a few shows on tonight that piqued my interest). So, I started watching Hell's Kitchen. I've watched it before and followed the series a couple times, so I was familiar with Ramsay's expletive-tossing. But, for the first time I was really bothered at how much people were cursing. Even though I enjoy a strategically-placed F-bomb on rare occasions (and I don't really "pooo-pooo" cursing too much), I found it incredibly annoying to almost feel assaulted by random cursing. Like, pew pew pew. And then I had to remember back to when I spoke like that. Like, every other sentence [blank] [blank] [blank] I have no idea how some people tolerated me because I don't think I would have. They must have really loved me to stand so much nonsense. I realized how classless I must have sounded. Kind of enlightening.

IJWTS I got extremely lucky.....I just spent the past hour plus washing, waxing, and detailing my car. Compared to a violent confrontation, I'll take that any day of the week. Especially because I don't want to defend myself because I know if I hit my dad I'm even more screwed. So it's like lose-lose.

What happened was a couple hours ago I got a small (spaghetti-line, about 3" long) scratch on my car. My dad would....idk what he'd do. Since I'm not well, I don't have a job and couldn't afford to get it fixed. And my dad has basically fought me a couple times (good ol' screaming matches, no blows but we were almost there) because I don't have a job and I'm not looking, which is mainly because of my crippling panic attacks that I've been having since even before I got home. He doesn't understand that, he just thinks I'm lazy. Which just gets me more angry because I physically can't do some things just yet. But yeah he could have potentially put me in the hospital, so I was worried. Him beating me in the past (because I'm afraid of defending myself due to either escalated violence (murder/hospital) and also because I don't know what I'd do if I was just set out on the street. I don't know even what I could do with how I am right now. :\). Thankfully it buffed out.....THANKFULLY.

So yeah.....I'll take hours on the car ANY DAY. I got lucky.

Oh man, broken. Forgive my brain farts, but... I don't know if I'd ever asked you if it would be possible to bring your dad to a session or to have your therapist talk to him (I'm guessing not because of confidentiality issues), but I think that would be an option for you to bring him with you? It's so hard when people think you're faking things because they do not understand them. Back in his day, I'm sure it was taboo to have such issues.

He doesn't want to go because he'd miss work and he thinks that they're just sheisters that cost a lot of money. I'm apparently fine but I need to stop being a [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] and just do things. Paying for "expensive cheerleaders" isn't what he wants, and it just angers him more.

It's all just messed up.

First of all, it's a shame he feels that way. I mean, I get it... but come on, until he actually hears and sees for himself, he's really going at this blind. I hope and pray for the best, broken.

Secondly, wow. I didn't know you could say that on CF. That's messed up. So meanwhile, people are [washing their mouths] for halfway-curses, but that word is completely acceptable? Way to go, CF. That makes sense.

So arbitrary, it's ridic.

IJWTS, I just realized while writing a post for another thread that I fully missed my 5th "anniversary" date of becoming a Christian. How could I forget that? I know it probably shouldn't be a big deal but it's kinda depressing that I fully overlooked it. heh.
