well, I'll take it up with John Ashcroft, then.JaelWasWickedCool said:actually, both the IDs and the note would be pretty easy to come up with!.
JaelWasWickedCool said:as far as the reason for my ignorant dislike (hatred is too strong a word, i don't care enough about them), i guess it's not totally ignorant, though i've never heard those bands that i listed. some of the reason is based on what people whose opinions i trust have said about them and some of it is that some of those bands are on drive thru records, and i automatically assume bands on that label suck 'cause more often than not, they do. and then the bands that aren't on drive thru tend to be the sort of bands that get lumped in with drive thru bands, so that probably means they're bad.

reformedfan said:Y'know if ya think about it, their music sounds like the filler music Saturday Night Live plays as they go to a commercial. "Here ya go, this wasn't good enough to include anywhere where people would hear it" (This was accurate 5-6 years ago, the last time I watched SNL on SN. Getting too hard to get up 4 church in my old age, bed time is now 6:30 PM)
Filler music. Anyway, it fits that pattern.

i'm with you. maynard's music is the only metal that i have found interesting.blackwasp said:Most metal bores me.![]()
musicPhan#41 said:did you hear metallica play it? that was sweet.
musicPhan#41 said:i'm not huge into the whitestripes, but they're pretty darn good for a 2-person band.
