if you'd please pray

I know this might sound silly, & i may just be being paranoid, but w/ all that's been going on lately, i thought i'd come ask for prayer just the same.

I've worked at a Christian bookstore for over a year now & have never had to do this. We're all being required to go to a meeting tonight (ppl from different stores all around the area) that none of us know what it is for. Some representatives from the main office are coming down here especially to talk to us, & i can't help but wonder. We've all speculated on what it could be about, but i had the strange thought that "what if they're laying us off?"

So if you would please pray for us, that God's will is done (& for traveling mercies because it's kinda far ) i'll be forever grateful.

I won't be online again today, so i'll leave this to you. :o

First off, don't panic. They could be giving good news. Most layoffs are done quietly, because they don't the tears and anger from the employees.

Secondly, remember God is the source of everything. If you are laid off from your job, your needs, your income never come from your employers, they come from God through your employers. God is the source, and He will not ever leave you.
