Aw man, so many to choose.
I wouldn't mind being in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Although, I don't do horses and I'm not the best runner, but I would sure bring all of hyrule to its knees WAY better than Ganondorf. Who knows. Maybe I could get a sweet deal as his successor. Mwuahahahaha!!!

Ahem, or maybe I could settle for being a commander/hero form an RTS game. Like Fenix form starcraft, or Grigor Stoyanovich from Empire Earth.

Oh, what I meant basically is you know, writing any story that has to do with that particular video game universe, just as the world of Middle-Earth in the Lord of the Rings. Like, writing about a particular adventure Link or Zelda has in Hyrule. Stuff like that. I think its called fan-fiction.

Ah yes, fan fiction, I used to read that kind of stuff on a starcraft sight like, 2 years ago. I kinda got bored with it though. I dunno, maybe I should start doing it again. Hey, its reading isnt it? Come to think of it, I read a Diablo 2 story not too long ago that was pretty good. Except for the fact that the author got the retarded(couldn't think of a better word, sorry) idea to make the paladin and Larzuk gay. Other than that it was great. Maybe I will get back into it, duont know about actually writing it though.

To Individual-KesTrel:

How about one of those old Amazon Trail games or something. I'de like to explore the Rainforest. (August 1st, 2004 3:22 pm)

Exactly. Or maybe the Oregon Trail... which one would be less dangerous? I always remember, like, all of my kids and my wife dying halfway through. Then the oxen would get sick. Then I'd run out of food and have to hunt (that was always fun). It'd be quite an experience, though, I'll give you that.

To Tissue:

4. Lord of the Rings
That would be very cool. VERY.

That whole entire world would be very cool, seriously.

5. Legend of Zelda
What can I say? Epona's awesome.
(August 3rd, 2004 10:48 pm)

As far as characters go, Epona probably is one of the awesomest. I did, however, like the Skull Kid from Majora's Mask. He was an interesting little poot. Then the Happy Mask Man from both N64 games... a little scary.
But anyway! Yes, that very diverse world (at least in the N64 games--NES and SNES not so much) would be quite spectacular.

My reply:

This is purely if our world's physics and my own personal physiology were not applicable in the game. For instance, Link has the ability to fall from, like, twenty stories high and land squarely on his feet. And what, he only loses one heart? Crazy. So yeah, and he's pretty stylish in his wardrobe. Of course, he never changes it, but we can get over that. And he can run without stopping... for days, as clearly evidenced in Ocarina of Time. And, of course, Epona is awesome.

And also, this is provided that I really can't die horrible, gruesome deaths... and stay dead. There's always a continue option.

So, then, here's a list:

The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Each one is set in a nice setting. Very pretty, for the most part. And quite exotic at times... forests, mountains, farms, valleys--all in one game, er, world.

System Shock, System Shock 2

Simply horrifying games. Like, they really are scary. The setting is so eerie, too. Hearing noises around you, not knowing from whence they come.

Mega Man, Mega Man 2, etc.

Weapons and modifications... that's it.

Sierra Adventures: King's Quest, Quest for Glory, Space Quest

The first two would be simply enchanting and heroic with beautiful, stunning landscapes. The third? Purely for humor.

Prince of Persia, Prince of Persia 2, etc.

This guy's about as agile as they come... plus, he waves a sword around. Coolness. I mean, you could argue that Mario 64 is agile, but... just look at him. There's something inherently demonic about how a little fat man can jump, like, five times his own height.

That's all. I probably add more later. I need more posts so I can actually start to do things. Like add links.
