A huge "conflict of interest" and disincentive to be honest and objective when it comes to asking "What does the Bible say in favor of God's Ten Commandments"?

You will agree with me I am sure - that these are far more likely scenarios than finding someone who as "written a book" and has book sales to deal with - or even finding a pastor here or there.

(BTW - I am not endorsing Darby on this )

Since the love of money is the root of evil, a paycheck does tend to color the perspective of some.

A pastor of any denomination whose is drawing a paycheck from that denomination is less likely to admit that there is a problem with the teachings of that denomination, in my humble opinion.

Agreed - but we are far more likely to be dealing with those whose jobs require some Sabbath breaking - than to be debating a bunch of pastors here. Wouldn't you agree?

Is it permissible to work at an SDA institution on the Sabbath?
(A hospital would be an example.)

Are there any limits to how far you can travel on the Sabbath?

Can you drive your car on the Sabbath to meet and worship?

Isaiah 51:16
"And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.

Notice that God is speaking to Israel. He says he gave them his law, the Old Covenant, the same law Jesus is speaking about in Matthew 5:17-18, to establish heaven and lay the foundation of the earth! The foundations of the physical heaven and earth were laid during the six days of creation.

Clearly God is not saying he gave the Old Covenant to Israel to create a literal heaven and a literal earth! The physical creation of the heavens and the earth occurred thousands of years before Israel was ever given the Old Covenant.

Isaiah 51:16
And I have put my words in your mouth, and covered you in the shadow of my hand, establishing the heavens and laying the foundations of the earth, and saying to Zion, 'You are my people.'

Isaiah is saying that God laid the foundations of the Old Covenant (heaven and earth) through His prophet Moses and therefore the Israelites are His people.

Who is God speaking to in Isaiah 1:1-2, "…Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth." The physical creation of heaven and earth? No, he is speaking to Israel.

And who is the witness in Deuteronomy 4:26, "I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day"? God is speaking about the first/old covenant. The Old Covenant had a curse attached to it and people who do not keep the whole old/first law/covenant were cursed by this same law/covenant. The Old Covenant witnessed against the disobedient Israelites/Jews and so their own heaven and earth covenant world was destroyed by the Romans at the command of God in 70 A.D.

The heaven and earth (covenant world) of the Jews completely passed away in 70 A.D.

"heaven and earth/land" that I have seen and I am inclined to share your view.
The word "earth" could also symbolize "land", such as the land of Judea?

If you have not studied the prophecies of Daniel, you would not understand the issue of the sanctuary in heaven.

You accept that through Christ's fulfillment of the law and the prophets.
That the law which you refer to as ceremonial law, has passed. Hence
why would eating ham be an offence?

Your dates are off just a little...

164 BC is when the temple was cleansed and rededicated after Antiochus Epiphanes desecrated it by setting up a statue or Zeus and having a pig slaughtered on the altar during 167 BC.

This is celebrated with the Jewish feast of Hanukkah.
It is found in the verse below.

Joh 10:22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

After the "Great Disappointment" of October 22, 1844 William Miller admitted he had been wrong.

However, some just could not let it go...

When Moses was on the Mountain GOD Gave him four sets of laws. The Royal Law GOD wrote with his own finger on two tables of stone.

The other three GOD spoke and Moses wrote them down.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

They are the Sanctuary Law, Dietary Law and the Civil law. All of these can be found in the old testament.

Jesus fulfilled the Sanctuary law, with his sacrifice on the cross for our sins.
Matthew 5:17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

The dietary law had nothing to do with the Sanctuary (ceremonial) Law.

The Royal, dietary and civil law can not be fulfilled only kept.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Jesus is perfect and cannot change.

Prior to Eve's and Adam's sin (disobedience) GOD said
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

As sinners they were put out of reach of the tree of life or else the would be immortal sinners.

The Sanctuary law was in place prior to sin.
Revelation 13:8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Ah yes, but God's decision concerning his response to Adam's sin was a change. Although Adam did the sinning, it was God who changed the relationship between himself and Mankind as a result. Similarly, the Law that he later gave to Moses represented a change to the extent that it had not been given to Mankind previously.

I disagree.
Why did Cain kill Able? if the Sanctuary Law was not in place at the beginning. Was the killing a sin if there was no Law.

For sin is the transgression of the Law.

Later, I am now going to worship the Creator on His Holy Sabbath Day.

That Scripture was in reference to the first temple and it chronicles the destruction of it.

Jesus prophesied about the destruction of the second temple, the temple He taught in. Josephus, the Jewish historian who was alive in 70 A.D., chronicled the actual destruction of this second temple by the Roman armies. This first/old covenant Jewish world, their heaven and earth, completely passed away in 70 A.D. when the temple was destroyed. The Jews' heaven and earth passed away, vanished away in 70 A.D.

GOD established the 7 day weekly cycle at creation.

Jesus was a Jew and Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were Jews, so of course, they called Saturday their Sabbath day. The Sabbath day was required for Jews and for Greek converts to Judaism only, but not for non-Jews.

In the NC, the apostles were commanded to make no distinction between Jew and Greek. The Jews became like the Greeks in that the Sabbath is not binding. No Greek is ever saved by keeping the Sabbath of the Jews. Keeping the Sabbath is a work of the law of Moses for Jews.

Galatians 2:15-16

The Greeks did not ever keep the Sabbath of the Jews unless they were converts to Judaism. Christian Greeks did not ever keep the Sabbath of the Jews. The Christians kept the first day of the week, Sunday, as their day to worship together each week because that is the day that the apostles and disciples were commanded by Jesus to meet together to worship. If Jesus had not commanded them to worship/break bread on the first day of the week, the leaders of His Church certainly would not have gathered together to worship/break bread on the first day of the week which Scripture shows us clearly they did.

Luke 22:19
