If you had to spend one year a country that is not your own which would it be?

Ok, the question is, if you had to spend a year in a country that is not your own, which country would it be? Also, if you want, include why.

I would probably choose Israel. Why: I am fascinated by biblical history and there are places all through out Israel that are of historical significance. I would also really enjoy learning the language and the culture and to find out what Israelis live with each day.

The USA! Just because.
Awesome.

Personally, I wouldn't mind going to Australia. My parents went there before I was born. The time zones have got to be something else though.

I've been to Hawai'i (Honolulu) twice, so I need to try a new tropical island. I've always thought little ol' Bermuda would be fun to visit. Unless I disappeared.

figi!!! definatley

Erm, I don't mean to sound mean, but do you mean Fiji? Or is this somewhere else that I haven't heard of?

As for me, I'd go to Russia, or at least that continent. It would be interesting to see the Cold War from the other side. And see how/why it all went wrong....

I'm originally from the States. I've already spent about 5 years in Korea.

At the moment, I'm about 3 months into a 2-year stay in Japan.

Hmm, maybe a few years from now if I could choose another country to live in, it would be somewhere where they speak English. LOL. :D
