I neither confirm nor deny it. The matter has not been convincingly determined either way, so I suspend judgment.Continuing to deny it really isn't helping anything.
If you read the filing (linkie), he most definitely did not "admit" that the so-called laptop was his, but that some of the data were.Hunter Biden files response against computer repair shop owner
The suit marks Hunter Biden’s first legal filing since his laptop has become a point of interest.www.politico.com
??? Are you still saying that Hunter Biden's Lawyers demanded the laptop be returned ? Do you think you have provided evidence that Hunter Biden's Lawyers have demanded the laptop to be returned."without knowledge sufficient to admit or deny the allegations"
That is boiler plate language in a court filing. It doesn't mean anything.
The FBI has had the laptop for four years, and nothing will become of it simply because there is nothing there.
The GOP I am quite sure since the computer shop owner handed out hard drives like candy, also has a copy.
You can bet, kind like the GOP today they will interview people and not avail the Dems of those interviews.
You can bet those interviewed were those CC'ed on those emails less Hunter.
The GOP already had an investigation in a senate in consideration of the hard drive, nothing became of that.
As much as the GOP makes hay about the laptop, there is nothing there of consequence, and no one has coherently explained why they think it is.
Yes that is correct. Regardless how feckless the evidence, the plan is to keep it in media as long as they can.I suspect the GOP is now going to stretch it out as long as they can, including keep having Republican press conferences that continue to claim they have "evidence," even though they refuse to make that "evidence" public or turn it over to the DoJ.
I also suspect they will regret the nonsense they are doing with Adam Schiff, such as trying to remove him -- as in a few years, when Democrats get control, I'm guessing they'll then use the precedent to treat Jim Jordan, MTG and James Cormer (and maybe a few others) -- those that claimed they have evidence of Biden's corruption -- the same way.
That's been their game for a long time now. They don't need any actual evidence of illegality or impropriety, just the suggestion will be enough to taint their target in the public conscious.I suspect the GOP is now going to stretch it out as long as they can, including keep having Republican press conferences that continue to claim they have "evidence," even though they refuse to make that "evidence" public or turn it over to the DoJ.

Your assertion was (checks notes)You can tapdance around this all you want. The thing is confirmed. Even the article linked to identifies it as "his laptop". Continuing to deny it really isn't helping anything. The laptop was Hunter Biden's. The emails have been verified as true. There's nowhere else to go with it.
yet no one has posted anything supporting that assertion. The linked Politico story discusses the lawsuit about the Hunter's personal data. When his lawyers filed a lawsuit wanting the laptop returned it was a dead giveaway.
To what "House Kangaroo Court" do you refer? The J6 hearings? The ones that presented actual evidence?I am certain they will be much more fair than the previous House Kangaroo Court.
That certainly is a hypothetical because there's nothing of the sort on the hard drive of the supposed laptop. It's conservative fan fiction and nothing more.Hypothetical: if your son provided evidence that you were part of a criminal conspiracy to misuse your political power in exchange for money and he was subsequently found guilty of a crime would you pardon him?
Your assertion was (checks notes)

In or before April 2019, Counterclaim Defendant Mac Isaac, by whatever means, came into possession of certain electronically stored data, at least some of which belonged to Counterclaim Plaintiff Biden.1Footnote 1 then reads: 1 This is not an admission by Mr. Biden that Mac Isaac (or others) in fact possessed any particular laptop containing electronically stored data belonging to Mr. Biden. Rather, Mr. Biden simply acknowledges that at some point, Mac Isaac obtained electronically stored data, some of which belonged to Mr. Biden.
John Isaac cannot verify that it was Hunter (he's legally blind, remember). He claims it was someone who identified themselves as Hunter. I find it hilarious how, if this were someone making a claim about Don Jr. or Matt Gaetz, the Conservisphere would be shrieking 24/7 that it's a setup and a hoax and how convenient it was that the repairperson was legally blind, yet somehow John Isaac is 1000% trustworthy. So when the "Mac Isaac" guy says Hunter Biden dropped off a laptop at his shop
There certainly is paperwork bearing a signature and the FBI took possession of a hard drive. That hard drive could be in a laptop, and that laptop could have belonged to Hunter, but I remain skeptical. What I've heard is that the hard drive John Isaac gave to Rudy, Bannon and Gaetz has something like 400 GB of data while the version of MacBook Pro that supposedly was dropped off only had 286 GB hard drive or something like that.and signed a work order of some sort to have it repaired he both lied about the origins (or as far you seem concerned the very existence of) the laptop and we are supposed to assume that he is lying and that he forged Hunter Biden's signature on the document?
The signature really match previous signatures , here is the invoiceSo when the "Mac Isaac" guy says Hunter Biden dropped off a laptop at his shop and signed a work order of some sort to have it repaired he both lied about the origins (or as far you seem concerned the very existence of) the laptop and we are supposed to assume that he is lying and that he forged Hunter Biden's signature on the document?

Now the question of the OP is that if you hacked Hunter Bidens emails why wouldn't you put them on a damaged laptop and claim someone you did not recognize dropped off the laptop.
Can you actually answer that question please ?
The FBI did actually take possession of a laptop and a hard drive so there is actually a laptop. (refer to copies of request and receipt given below)There certainly is paperwork bearing a signature and the FBI took possession of a hard drive.
As I said in another thread, that's paperwork. It's not a laptop. Again, I'm perfectly amenable to a laptop existing, I just remain skeptical. The FBI did actually take possession of a laptop and a hard drive so there is actually a laptop. (refer to copies of request and receipt given below)
Indeed, with the loudest trumpeting coming from the NY Post which has gone all in on it.Mac Isaac has also said he has made many copy's of Hunter's Hard drives and sent these copys to many people people.
The issue is many articles say they have confirmed the laptop must be Hunter Biden's but when you read the article they water down the claim by saying that they have been given what could be plausibly be a copy of a laptop harddrive
I am certain the emails are authentic. I would bet Hunter did have a laptop with his last 5 years of emails downloaded onto the hard drive and abandoned it in a repair shop, but I am not certain this is the case, Fore example Mac Isaac could have just logged in as hunter and downloaded some emails or perhaps he got them from elsewhere.Actually I don't think all of the information was on the laptop. Not originally. But it is all genuine. What makes me believe that it is genuine is both the fact that the emails were confirmed as real by one of the addressees, and no one has made the claim that it is not authentic
Not John, Mac. Whoever tickles ears best is to be believed.John Isaac cannot verify that it was Hunter (he's legally blind, remember). He claims it was someone who identified themselves as Hunter. We know that some of it is genuine and it is possible that all of it is, but we don't know that.Actually I don't think all of the information was on the laptop. Not originally. But it is all genuine. John Paul Mac Isaac. I believe Mac Isaac is a compound last name based on it's use in the filing for Hunter's lawsuit. Not John, Mac.
Agreed.Whoever tickles ears best is to be believed.
We also know there were warnings, around that time, that Giuliani was the target of a Russian disinformation campaign. Not John, Mac. Whoever tickles ears best is to be believed.
We know that some of it is genuine and it is possible that all of it is, but we don't know that.
We also know that Rudy Giuliani spent a lot of time in Ukraine and other East European places looking for scandalous stuff on the Bidens at the behest Donald J. We know this because during the Perfect Phone Call, Donald told Zelenskiy to give such info to Rudy directly and not go through official ambassadorial people.
