If you could be any character in science fiction or fantasy, who would you be? Movies, tv, books, etc, it doesn't matter. Whose shoes would you like to step into? And why?

Personally I'd be Jadzia Dax from DS9 Her character is very cool and a similar personality to my own. Plus she's in the midst of a great series

Good question.

I think mine is guessable from my signature box. In real life I am also a humorless, snarky, cynical, arch, SOB that only wears black and can't get the hair to work right. Ever.

If I were asked to choose someone of the correct gender I'd have to go with Rogue (in some part because my husband's a dead ringer for Wolverine). Or Jetgirl of course, but I can't quite afford that Harrier.

Hands Down High King Peter of narnia. I remember first reading the books and abosultely fell in love. Then the movie came out and I was outside of myself. Peter has always been hero to me, he and Prince Caspian.

What!?!

What about Reepicheep?

He's my boy!

Wow, what a question...

My first choice would have to be Han Solo from Star Wars. I have always wanted to fly the Millennium Falcon, even though I'm not a very good driver.

If I couldn't be Solo, then I'd go with Malcolm Reynolds. He's essentially the same character, but with a little more angst and a little less getting-frozen-in-carbonite.

Benjamin Sisko from DS9 would be cool, just because he's always been a hero of mine.

Finally, I'd have to consider the X-Men's Wolverine... for the healing factor, mostly. I'd be a lot braver if I didn't fear pain. But I'd have to be the movie Wolverine, not the comic book version, because I like being tall...

Maybe so, but I just don't think I could handle the Power Cosmic... I can't even figure out how to turn off the Closed-Captioning on my TV...

Wolverine still feels pain though...he can heal himself but he still feels pain...when Rogue asked him if it hurts when his claws come out and he says 'everytime'...

True, but I just don't think pain would be as scary if it wasn't for the possibility it would lead to, y'know, long-term injury and death...

I don't know what this says about me, but all of my choices are male characters!

Harry Dresden (The Dresden Files)--the perfect kind of guy. A wizard with a heart of gold. Imperfect, fallible and human but with great sense of humor, chivalrous and old-fashioned, magically powerful but takes a lot of knocks in his quest to always do the right thing, which isn't always the easiest thing.

Dumbledore in Harry Potter--astute, believes in others and like Harry Dresden, willing to do what is right even when it isn't comfortable.

Gandalf--same reasons as for Dumbledore.

Luke Skywalker--same reasons for Harry Dresden.

Capt. Jean-Luc Picard---Picard was always my fave of the Star Trek captains. He's suave, educated, diplomatic, a true Renaissance man. he's not driven by passions, he's a creature of intellect. I like that type.

And I always kind of liked Worf too...animalistic, protective, tough exterior that hides a soft heart, but with a warrior's courage and admirable sense of honor.

Lets see who do I want to be?

I kind like the idea of deing Drizzts from R.A. Salvitor dark elfs books, I like being unstoble in a fight.

I also like to be Harry Dresden because no matter how beat up he get he still has a smart mouth on him, pluse I want my own talking skull!

I would like to Squall from FF8, only because I dont mind have Rinoa asking me to dance, Then aghen Cloud gets to women fighting over him!.....Or I could be Sephiroth, Same Reason as Drizzts only now I get to be Evil!

It would be cool to be Aragorn, from Lord of the rings.

My own Charater in the world I made (Who I atemted to make my Charater to look like)
