Such example would be let's say Walgreens without a cashier. And if people who went to Walgreens for an item were to honestly pay for the item by putting the right amount of cash into a collector. What would we have here?
Walgreens wouldn't have to hire a cashier, saving expenses, and possibly lowering prices of items. Because a significant expense in business is employees.
So as a whole society benefits the business and the consumer, given if there is no job shortages in other areas of the economy. If the economy were so bad that Walgreens was the only job someone could find then there's something wrong here. But what would create such a scenario?
