Are some of the posts Is Jesus Real, and How to know God exists.....We KNOW God exists! We KNOW Jesus is real and ARE NOT looking for proof! No?? These do not feel like Christian questions, am I wrong?

i guess this depends on whether you believe that we are all sons of God or not ....

Well sometimes people have crises of faith.

Maybe but these sound like they never had any. They are almost mocking like " Where is your proof?" We know Jesus only shows Himself to those willing to receive Him amd those He has chosen. Do these people think Jesus tried to prove Himself and FAILED? Jesus is NOT running around trying to convince people of anything. He has already won the battle- GOD NEEDS NO ONE

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. John 3:1

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:4

Angels are Sons of God. He refers to us as His children.

I believe that God gave us a brain with reason and rationality and this hardly understood thing of consciousness. When you turn to the faith, you have to suspend SOME logical thought. There is no proof in the modern historical or scientific sense that Jesus spoke the words he did or that he rose from the grave.

Acceptance of the Whole message of Christianity requires faith. Faith by its definition is belief in something you cannot prove. People have questions. That scares some christians but as christians we should embrace the hard questions, especially for those who have been christians for decades or our whole life. Questioning Should be allowed. I don't think that to just put aside reason is something inherent in our brains.

For those who are active in witnessing to their faith may encounter these types of questions. They need to be equipped to answer them:

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Eph 4:11-13 NIV).​

To the contrary, faith's foundation is in facts of the existence of God and Jesus's death and resurrection. The faith you've described is a leap of faith and not faith whose foundation is based on facts.

I have faith that the Jumbo Airbus will take me from Sydney to Los Angeles but that is based on thorough testing of the Airbus to prove its ability to fly long distances.
