I think folks confuse sinless with being Divine.
Its a wonder they didnt consider Adam and Eve to be God too....pre fall.

People do confuse being sinless with being Divine. I don't know how many people I've heard say that Mary can't be sinless because only God is sinless.

The other example besides Adam and Eve pre-fall is the angels who didn't rebel. They're sinless creatures as well.
