a person's son is on crystal meth, is stealing from his parents to support his habit, he is endangering his mother and the rest of the family...... to that family you tell them "Jesus is the answer?"Yes, He is the answer to every problem.
How would Jesus not be the answer? Isn't he the Master Healer? Misrepresenting him in the name of religion doesn't make him the offender. He is love (agape). Doesn't love (God) play the major role in helping those who have been abused in the name of religion too?a person's son is on crystal meth, is stealing from his parents to support his habit, he is endangering his mother and the rest of the family...... to that family you tell them "Jesus is the answer?"
a family's daughter has been sexually abused by a trusted family friend and elder in the church....... to that daughter and family you tell them Jesus is the answer?
Is that what we are saying?

And then we go to church and sing 'Your the only Jesus some will ever see'..... and yet we pass the buck to Him.....Perhaps the next time I see someone needs medical attention of some sort I should go up to them and tell them Jesus is the answer rather than call 999. Why bother help people on a practical lever just tell them Jesus is the answer and our job is done then its up to Him....She will find wisdom and strength in Jesus. He will show her what to do and give her the strength to do it.
Yes, the son needs Jesus. Jesus will also give the family what they need to deal with this situation.
Yes, healing for the daughter and family is found in Jesus.
That's why love is the foundation. He IS love, and Christians are commanded to LOVE, which still translates into Jesus (LOVE) being the answer. And then we go to church and sing 'Your the only Jesus some will ever see'..... and yet we pass the buck to Him.....Perhaps the next time I see someone needs medical attention of some sort I should go up to them and tell them Jesus is the answer rather than call 999. In the book of Acts Peter told the crippled beggar by the church Jesus is the answer and kept stepping........... oops no of course not He healed the man. So in essence telling people Jesus is the answer of is not answer showing people Jesus is the answer is the real answer...The healing wasn't from his own power, but Jesus working through Peter. Jesus was the answer to the crippled begger. Peter was exercising the love that God had given him. Without Jesus the man would still be crippled.
