That is a nice thought. I think everyone should sponsor a village in a poor nation. My wife sponsors a village in the Philippines, and I have just started to sponsor a village in India. Right now I am looking for 100 people who want to give $20 each, so we can buy them a tiller to make the land more productive. They are working the land with hand tools now, but it is hard for them to produce enough food to feed their familys. They say it is easier to preach the gospel to people who have food in their tummy, compared to trying to tell hungry people about Jesus.
