If I Leave CF.com forever...

Hi,
Lately my life has been way too busy. Spending time on CF.com is just not easy for me anymore. It is with utmost sorrow that I am announcing my leave. From now on, I will not be posting at CF.com due to the fact that I need to reorganize my priorities. Yesterday, our youth minister challenged us to find out what's keeping us from God. I found out it is the Internet. So, I am going to obey God and give up the internet, except for academic and research purposes. No more posting on forums (except the ones I moderate). Even then it will be once in a great while. I need to focus on what's important: My ministry, the LORD, my family, friends, and my novel. Please pray for me always!

i totally respect your decision. yet i have something to share with you here:

1 internet is a tool only. u can use it for pleasure, for research for helping others...i still remember 20 years ago when i did my partime summer job: suddenly the boss bought a computer and everyone played games and reduce in productivities
2 if you view and indeed use this forum to outreach ppl who love surfing, i think God will approve too...(think: we've a lot of older ministers/pastors who can't do this)
3 please consider.

I realize that I may be a little late, but here goes;

We all have the need to simplify our lives. What you are doing is admirable. I limit my internet to about 2 hours a day. I don't believe that I'm wasting my time simply due to the fact that I speak from my heart and leave plenty of room for disagreement. Those that disagree with me are my teachers.

It is my most sincere hope that you find that which you are seeking. As I have posted before, if God is omni-present then He is in your heart, you must seek Him there.
