Speak for yourself. You said, and I quote:
I, in turn, showed where scripture shows that people burned their books about magic after hearing of the encounter between the man with the evil spirit and the seven sons of Sceva.Originally Posted by itisdeliciouscake Scripture NEVER forbids reading books about magic.Originally Posted by itisdeliciouscake There is an enormous difference between books designed to teach demonic magic and fiction about a magical world.
"Fiction about a magical world"? Are you kidding? Not only are there SEVERAL REAL PLACES mentioned in the Potter books, but there are also SEVERAL REAL PEOPLE mentioned as well. Funny thing...these REAL PEOPLE were REALLY involved IN THE OCCULT and CHILDREN are now inquiring about them. Here's a two-part video series that will give you the names of some of these REAL OCCULTISTS who are mentioned in the Potter books and also some details on how CHILDREN are being sucked into THE OCCULT as a result of reading them.

A lot of them are probably sucked into it just hearing some of the stories in the Bible.

I am not denying the Bible doesn't portray it in a negative way.The Bible always portrays such things as witchcraft, sorcery, wizardry, etc. in a NEGATIVE way. For example, we read:
Anyhow, as I said on one of these threads (it might have been this one), my own wife was studying/practicing to be a witch in her native country before we got married. Also, several generations of her family were practicing witches themselves. I've seen the relationship between witchcraft and demons with my very own eyes. It's not something to be played with.
Oh get off your high horse mate. Thanks to the few Christian posters that see why making sorcery and witchcraft fun and entertaining, is a draw for kids to practice real occult. It truly is a subtle and cunning ploy. most can't even reconize the danger
Is it any less different than dragons, that are portrayed in some movies, which are mentioned in both the OT and NT of the Bible ?
Anyone seen a dragon lately?

What the sign?
Ezekiel 29:3 "Speak thou! and say 'thus He says my Lord YHWH. Behold Me! on thee Par`oh king of Egypt, the great Dragon the one reclining in midst of his rivers which he says to Me ' my River and I, I made me'.
Revelation 12:3 And was seen another Sign in the heaven and behold! a great fiery red Dragon, having seven heads and ten horns. And upon the heads of him seven diadems.
This was an excellent dragon movie IMHO
