It would generally be higher that, the percentile for a high score is normally given in the 90's with 99 generally being the highest one can get.
Your percentile is a number that is comparing you to other people, the higher a percentile you have, the higher you are compared to other people.
I cant remember, its been awhile since ive done an IQ test.

Ah, could be a reverse percentile, type thing.
It also depends on the test. I have found some tests to be Very hard because they seemed to lean more to the stuff im not as good at (I swear I hate those stupid Magic squares, they are cool, but they bug me.
) and others I could do practically in my sleep (literally )

Where can I take one?
A real one I mean. I went to a web site and took it half-way a second a go but it was so ridiculous I felt guilty about scoring it. Where did you take yours GJG?

Sorry dude, I can't remember cause it was a few years ago. I do remember it took approx 30-45 min to complete. I suppose if the test is an indepth one that covers several areas (visual, spacial, memory, numbers, creative....etc) and also takes a fair while to complete, it should be considered.
I still am a bit unsure about the score though, cause it was so high. I mean 168, I don't think I'm that bright.
Must admit, it was very enjoyable!

Sometimes easy ones score hard, so a slip up can nail you. However the hardest one ive taken wasnt from a site but from a couple books.
I would say do a google search and find some to do, although they arent as indepth as the book ones ive taken, if you take enough of them you can get an ok idea of your IQ.
And as I mentioned the percentile is generally more important than the score.
I like taking them because they are fun (I like a lot of the puzzles they have).

I sorta lean more towards the creative side of looking at things myself. Mathematics was my lowest scoring subject.
Most people have no idea of how much potential is locked up in that fist sized piece of grey matter (brain). When one realizes this fact, the tak of unlocking it becomes a whole lot easier!

True to that! A friend of mine who has an IQ of 130 told me the same. When I told him about my score he literally freaked! He then grabbed one of the tests he had recently completed and showed me a few of the questions he got stumped on. Then I quickly gave him my answers off the top of my head all within about 20 sec. I didn't know whether I was correct or not until he went to the answer page. I swear the poor guy almost jumped out of his skin. He started yelling something like: It must be true, it must be true.......! He then ran to his father (a pschycologist with a huge IQ) and told him of my score and how I seemed to prove the legitimacy of it.
But hey!...I still think it is way too high for a simple minded person like myself.

Actually, yes and no. It would turn into a dishonest bragging contest. I wouldn't want to see that. Know what I mean? Threads asking people how smart they are... I'll stay away for safety purposes.
