How can the Democrats know that Trump's unpublished tax returns show him not to have paid any tax??
And Democrats control the IRS which is why conservatives such as Trump get targeted for audits so often while Democrat party supporters are left alone. It's one example of many of corrupt DC politics.Well, the democrats do control the Treasure Dept.......
Which begs the question, why not man up and release current ones? As I said, I don't care if he paid no taxes at the end if he filed a legal return. But it is crystal clear to me he is hiding something he fears the public knowing before the election.
Otherwise, he'd be releasing and bragging about how rich he is, how much charity giving he does and how smart he is to use legal deductions.
And why conservative organizations found it so difficult to receive tax exempt status......just in case the usual suspects start screaming about how the IRS is non-partisan and would never release tax info without permission.......And Democrats control the IRS which is why conservatives such as Trump get targeted for audits so often while Democrat party supporters are left alone. What question does Trump refusing major campaign contributions from individuals or other interests answer ?
Or basically funding his own campaign ? You reason like a female , lay off the estrogen dude ..
It is, indeed, my business for a candidate to the highest office in the land. That's a preposterous notion that a candidate for President should be allowed to hide his/her financial dealings. I's a preposterous notion that a candidate for President be expected to do the absolute minimum in disclosure.Because it's not required and none of your business ?
That has absolutely nothing to do with it and you know it (or should). The IRS does not complete anyone's return. That is done by the taxpayer or authorized preparer. I don't give diddly squat about his being audited. I care about what he makes and deducts compared with what he has told the public. And Democrats control the IRS which is why conservatives such as Trump get targeted for audits so often while Democrat party supporters are left alone. Again, I will be very simple. The return versus what he says he has done with his money. How he has funded his campaign is not the issue. What question does Trump refusing major campaign contributions from individuals or other interests answer ?

The ironic thing is that Democrats are complaining about the tax system while being against Trump's plan to simplify it.That has absolutely nothing to do with it and you know it (or should). I'd like to see evidence for your bolded in something other than Trumps claims.
From his own website: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/splash/eoq/
The first thing there is the "Donate" button. He's about as self-funded as he is a faithful husband.
Which again has nothing to do with why he isn't releasing it. As another poster noted, he could use his return as a way of touting his understanding of the problems with the system and how it relates to his proposed changes. That would be a powerful argument. Trump is either hiding something or he's just stupid. The ironic thing is that Democrats are complaining about the tax system while being against Trump's plan to simplify it.

My peers universally love and admire me. It would be ok to admit that you don't have a good argument.I agree you couldn't be more simple , have you ever considered being positive and promoting your own candidate ? I bet you are a joy to be around at work aren't you ?

BTW, The thread isn't about my candidate.
Correct. I'm really, really popular. What's not to love , right ?
Depends on the POV; if you mean strictly personal, yeah. More money in your pocket to spend as you see fit. If viewed from a societal perspective maybe not so much if it means insufficient funding. The big argument against the societal POV is that government has demonstrated time and again that no amount of money is ever enough. As an example:Is it smart to not pay taxes? I'm not asking it's wrong or right, but if it's smart.

If people don't like the legal loopholes they should be for Trump's plan to simplify the tax system.
