When Jesus returns, there's not going to be any doubt. The Scriptures plainly teach that every eye will see Him on that day. Did you see Jesus return in glory? Are the dead still buried in their graves, or have the tombs been liberated of the dead?

You didn't, so of course Jesus hasn't returned. When Jesus returns, the dead will be raised and heaven and earth will roll up like a sheet as all are brought before the Throne of Judgment. You're here on an internet discussion board, not right now standing before Jesus Christ, Almighty God on His Throne.

The Bible teaches the resurrection and glorification/transformation of the physical body.

This will come across as aggressive, but I plead, please read a history book before saying something like this. The whole idea of "the dark ages" is nonsense and unfounded. Real historians don't use that term to describe Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages. Instead they speak of Late Antiquity and the Early Middle Ages, which aren't dark, they are actually quite illuminated.
