This is not an endorsement of Hezbollah but who "confirmed " this? By worldly standards lets look at the situation.

Israel was still in Lebanese territory before this lastest conflict. They were just out of most of it. Israel has lots of Lebanese prisoners. So it is defined as Israel captures and Hezbollah kidnapes. Israel defends itself(while always occupying Lebanon) and Hezbollah terrorizes.

It looks like two countries at war , to me, with one having an overwhelming military advantage . If they are puppets of Iran then Israel is our puppet whom we supply.

God is on neither side. Why? I quote again "Blessed are the peace makers".

Hilter was bent on conquoring and occupying all of Europe. Israel could care less about conquoring the middle East and occupying it. Completely different motivations altogether. It is the Islamofascists that want to conquor and occupy Israel.

Zionists believe Israel has a divine right to all that land that it occupies. It also believes that right extends far beyond the land Israel currently occupies. So, spare me the "completely different motivations" nonsense. Israel wants land.

Every time Israel gets in a military conflict, they immediately start trying to capture land and then holding that land until a cease fire, at which time they refuse to leave. This is just as they're doing now.

Hezbollah drove Isreal out of most of Lebanon a few years ago. Maybe they'll finish the job this time. Lebanon wants terms of a cease fire to include getting back their land.

You do know that Israel was created by the UN just after WWII, right? They didn't "create" themselves. You might want to try doing some research. YOu act like Hezbollah is some peace loving band of freedom fighters. Their own remarks prove otherwise. They are bloodthirsty savages that deserve every bit of violence that is directed at them, and I hope they get it, with interest compounded.

My point exactly, the UN creates Israel for post-haulocost Jews, then condemns Israel for everything they do to defend the very land they gave them. List me the UN resolutions condemning Hezbollah, Al Quaida, Hamas, the PLO, etc....

When you are going to admit that no one is condemning Israel for defending themselves. We are condemning Israel for their aggression?

The UN is the arbitrator between nations. Al Kaeda is not relevant to the UN charter.

One other little tidbit of history is

http://www.trumanlibrary.org/whistlestop/study_collections/un/large/
[FONT=Arial,][FONT=Arial,][FONT=Arial,]Documents, spanning January and February 1947, regarding an offer of an $8.5 million gift by John D. Rockefeller to the United Nations to purchase a headquarters site in New York City, contingent on the federal government exempting the gift from federal gift taxes. Documents focus on language for amending the Internal Revenue Service Code to exempt gifts to the United Nations. Included is a proposed joint resolution for Congress to enact the exemption. Papers of Harry S. Truman, Official File.

I am sure that a simple desert people had Rockefellers ear.

Oh, I see how it works. I run around gathering information while you preside over the evidence.

Hezbollah is a "known terrorist group". They have no representation in the UN. Therefore his honor should judge it a non-sequitur .

Ever read one syllable written by Benny Morris, Israel's leading historian on the foundation of the modern State of Israel? Do please take the trouble to read his famous interview with Haaretz, which also reveals Morris' deep-seated racism:

Happy?

Yes! Islam is demonic. No other religion is sending their children into battle to blow themselves up.

Let just suppose that you and I are enemies. OK

You live in a house at the end of the street on about one acre of land.

I claim you are on my land and I really don't like you anyway.

I declare that I am going to kill you and take your land regardless of what anyone’s says, feels, tries, etc.

In this illustration is the evil one? Me or You. You just want to live in your house in peace and I hate you and want to kill you and take your land.

There is peace in the arms of Christ. Love Always Finds A Way.

The Israelis are not the aggressors here, Hezbollah is. Hezbollah started this without provocation. The Israeli are simply defending their civilians from the incoming rockets.

There were no "incoming rockets" until Israel decided to launch a full military strike against the whole of southern Lebanon, to date killing 1005 Lebanese civilians. Hezbollah's actions are justifiable under Israeli law and Israeli precedents, and perhaps you can reveal the number of civilians killed in the original Hezbollah raid?

"Without provocation"?? What do you call the slaughter of innocents in Gaza (which continues apace, though the media doesn't bother to tell us about it) and the continued detention of nine-thousand prisoners, one-thousand of whom are held without charge? I could go into how Israel is the only country in history to have legalised torture, the only country in history to have legalised hostage-taking (you couldn't make it up!) and the only country in history to have legalised home demolitions as collective punishment, but I'll stop here.

The French were not firing rockets into Germany before Hitler invaded.
The Hezbollah was born when the PLO couldn't handle the job of firing rockets into Israel from Lebanon.

Your revision of history is incredible. The kidnapping of 2 IDF soldiers, and the rockets started on the same day, and the Invasion came as a respone to the kidnapping, and rockets.

I just can't believe what I am reading biblthmp! I'll say what I said again:

Hezbollah enters Israel and captures two Israeli soldiers on July 12. In response, Israel launches a major military attack, bombing the Lebanese airport and parts of southern Lebanon. Hezbollah retaliates by launching hundreds of rockets and missles into Israel.

Please, please, provide me with the source of your information which states that Hezbollah were firing hundreds of rockets at Israeli civilians before Israeli started its massive bombardment.

You know, it's funny there happens to be another thread "Israel acting like Hitler" right now. Did you know that in September, 1939, the citizens of Nazi Germany were led to believe that Poland attacked & provoked Germany? Even the Nazis thought they were only defending themselves.
