How anthropocentric of you.

lol.. well thats what they are saying, if they truely are like humans and have human emotion they should have no problem doing that eventually...

I honestly don't care about mutations and skulls and bones.. again we are just studying Gods creation of cause and effect.. The REAL point is in the human spirit of free will and self awareness..

Apes have never built civilations like we have, nor have animals.. Our needs for wanting a answer in life, our pity and guilt we have, moral conciousness... These are the things that make us known as being made in the image of God.. and to suggest that we came from apes who have absolutly no human spirit, have built no civilizations, have no self awareness of their moral consequence or guilt is ludacris..We can get animals to "mimmick" humans, but that goes on respond/reward teaching.. the dolphin does that trick because he wants the fish, or the ape does this because he wants a banana.. in no way does this show they have a man/spirit..Animals were created by God, but not in the image of God.. And our human spirit is what shows forth this "image of God" and makes us discernable from the animals..

If you dont believe me try to get an animal or ape to learn the english language in a hundred or so years.. Has it ever happened?? If evolution is so true why are we the only creatures on the world who can learn languages?? And if we are truely related then animals would exibit the same learning behavior we have.. but as we see, there is a "limit" that animals can only go so far.. we human being are the only beings on earth that have passed that limit that animals cannot..

Hmm... I suppose since you don't care about mutations and skulls and bones, you probably don't bother to look into research to teach apes language either?

Apes have repeatedly been taught sign language, and can not only repeat words and phrases, but build their own and convey complex concepts. You won't hear them speaking english any time soon because their voiceboxes aren't adapted for human speech (you won't see a human speaking dolphin language any time soon for the same reason).

There's controversy involved, but when you can tell an ape something it's never heard before, "make the dog bite the snake" and it goes to find a dog and a snake and pinches the dog's mouth around the snake... you start to suspect that they might very well understand what they're signing!
