Not wanting to debate or anything. Just have a question. Is there any mention of the Ice Age in the Bible? And if so, where?

The Bible says the earth was covered with water, it does not call it ice. Then about 11,000 years ago, God seperated the water from the water. The land was gathered in one place and the water was gathered in another.

You guys are assuming that all Christians on the board are YECs. Not true. Some of us are old earth progressive creationists who understand that the ice age, dinosaurs, and what have you, occurred many years before the Bible days of Adam. So why would the Bible talk about an ice age??

I would think possibly because humans seemed to have started getting organized around the time of the end of the ice age.
JEP: I see your point. The deal is that many of us interpret the Bible quite differently than the YECs do. Progressive creationists, for the most part, combine what we glean from the Bible with what we learn from science. A pre-adamic race is paramount in those beliefs. Adam was the first man of this race, but other races seem to go back 300,000 years or so before Adam.

No, JohnR7 seems to be some sort of OEC, though maybe a different sort than you are.
The YECs do have problems with multiple ice ages since there really isn't time for even one proper ice age,
