  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I know about Ibogaine. I went to a clinic in Mexico for treatment. It was very effective. If anyone tells you (Dr, DEA, the pope, or your own mother) that you can in fact become addicted to this substance, they are a. liars b. NEVER taken it. There is no way you would want to repeat the process.
I took it to stop an opiate addiction that I got from my pain management doctors. I certainly am an adult and take full responsibility for my addiction or body tolerance as they liked to call it. Either way the withdrawal was the same. I could still be making monthly visits to the doctor to receive my meds, but choose not to.
It does work and but its not something to take for anything other than a hard opiate addiction. And it did not help me, (or anyone else) that I know of, with any kind of benzo issue. you must continue to take your medication even during your ibogaine treatment. I would never suggest anyone (Christian or not) use it for any other reason other that opiate addiction, or possibly cocaine, meth, or alcohol. I can not speak for experience about any thing except opiate withdrawal.
I can honestly say I have never been more afraid of doing anything in my life.

The FDA has a long and glorious tradition of dragging its feet regarding approving drugs. I am not sure if in this specific instance there is anything more behind it than that.
This! The FDA is overly cautious about approving drugs. Folks have always had to travel to foreign countries for drugs the FDA has yet to allow in the US.
