I wrote a song and giving to my Mum for Christmas...

Hi all,

I wrote this song about my sister who lived for about 30 hours. I plan to give it to my Mum for Christmas. I think (and hope) it will mean a lot to her! If you get a chance let me know what you think. Thanks

The death of a young child is very tough for parents ( I have experienced this personally with one of my sons)
It took us all a long time to recover from the pain. When the pain is gone we are only left with memories. Let your song of hope remind you of the precious little gift that you were all so lucky to meet.

That's a great song; God in Heaven must be happy that you made it; as He said "Suffer to let the little children come to me" and this is not really a secular song; so you could do worse then coming over to our P&W Music Forum and start a thread there; as we are about lyrics as well as songs and videos. If you look at my avatar; you will see I am a Moderator; and for this kind of thread there would no problem with two; in fact; because it is about religious subject; it is off-topic for secular Music; and could be said to technically be in violation of CF rules (but we would never action something like this--LOL)

I just think you would get more of the kind of input your looking for in one of our Music forums; and I must modestlly say (puffs up chest) I am the un-official CF Music Moderator--HeHe.

So if you have any trouble with your music threads; or others; let me know. Cheers.

Oh; you could also post it in the OBOB forum; as it's Catholic; but I have good friends that are Catholic who post to P&W.
