Checking in to see if Ed McMahon has been circling the 'hood.
Yeah, yeah, he is not your source.
So much is going on these days with complexities of currencies and changes in perception of value. It seems that standing still can even change our net worth.
Look at how retirement funds were taken over -- people lost what they thought they were worth. Mortgages are owned by who-knows-who ... so our homes are in the hands of unknown paper-holders.
Gold and silver have been standards for currency value, and some countries have replaced that foundation. I heard recently that through history, daily labor has generally been compensated by a tenth of an ounce of silver... so minimum wage is either knowingly or unknowingly set to the value of silver.
The land we live on could have a vein of silver running through it, or oil or natural gas. It could be rezoned to commercial property and suddenly be worth more -- based on what people could do with it.
The old boxes in your attic could contain a letter from a famous person, or a famous painting, or a valuable postage stamp.
Worth is based on perception of value. Are you seeing something as being normal, which others might deem valuable?
The Father went to your house to get it. (Or at least a familiar house, I think.)
As Capital One says, What's in your wallet?
Do you have any hidden talents that you socked away in a wall until you had the freedom and time "for yourself" to pursue them?
Many of us just want the million so we'd finally have the time and freedom to do what was in our hearts.
