Hi everyone, I know I've just joined, and perhaps am not very well known yet, but I am writing this post to state that I have decided not to continue posting on this, or any forum in the future. I can't tell you why, but as he has done in the past, I feel God has been telling me for a time now, even before I joined, that he does not want me here. I reaffirm that I have nothing against any you, and in fact, have found this forum very enjoyable; Yet, what the Lord says I will do, even if I don't understand fully. This is a matter of personal conviction, which I hope you all see.

We all must do what God is telling us to do. It's a wonderful thing to have a relationship with our God and some times it isn't always easy to do His will but I believe in the end it will all be worth it. I pray whatever God has in store for you, His glory will be shown through you!

A logical reason that God may not want Christians here is because the web site has become innfested with non-Christians and anti-Christians who are allowed to register and post messages.Some quasi-Christians enjoy getting into debates with these people thinking that's what Christians should do.However,at no time did Jesus teach His followers to debate non-believers.Debates with anti-Christians,some of whom are satanic,almost always create strife,anger and and some degree of hate -exactly what Satan wants to provoke in Christians and exactly what the bible warns Christians to avoid.So-called Christian debate ,rather than Christian discussion,often turns into a field exercise for the enemies of Christianity.

Yes when it comes to debateing non-christians here it does usually turn into a meaningless round of argueing back and forth. This is why I mostly post in the christians only forums.

I also think there are more atheists here than on their own atheist websites...I mean, if they love atheism so much, why do they hang here? Just to argue? Hmmm, seems to be a deeper reason than that. *wink*

But I can see where alot of folks leave these forums from time to time though

Sometimes it seems like they should change the motto of the christianforums to "UNITING ALL CHRISTIANS AS ONE BODY - SO THE NON-BELIEVERS CAN ARGUE ENDLESSLY WITH THEM"

Oh well, I just stay away from most of the non-christian accessible forums (with notable exceptions like 'Hobbies" or things like "Recipes" etc)

Hi JMRE5150. I have found some atheists here to be quite sincere and wanting a meaningful debate however and without all the put downs. Just thought I should add that in.

But I can see where alot of folks leave these forums from time to time though

I took a 3 month leave myself but I wouldn't contribute that to the atheists on the board but because of some of the christians here. I don't frequent the open boards too often so whenever I'm turned off it's because of that. From non-believers I expect an arguement and a certain attitude but when it comes from christians I get tired of it. Especially when I start acting the same way is when I have to put down the mouse for a while, if you know what I mean?
