  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I will give this a try ...

Hey John,

My vision for the next 10 years ...

After finishing my year here (which at the moment is easier said than done) I am planning to go home and go to Bible College. I would love to go into ministry and serve women and teenagers. I would also love to study psychology and/or counselling. Then maybe mrriage and kids - but this is all up to God. In Him I can achieve all things. I am not really worried as long as my feet always are heading towards Him.

Thanks for the question (and your support). God bless, Evie

What's the last book you read?
I read the last book I read was a book of the Bible. I read Joel the other night when I was really sad and lonely. I cried when I read it and these two verses stood out the most for me -
Chapter 2 vs 25
"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—
the great locust and the young locust,
the other locusts and the locust swarm [f
my great army that I sent among you.

And Chapter 2 vs 32
And everyone who calls
on the name of the LORD will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be deliverance,
as the LORD has said,
among the survivors
whom the LORD calls.

Did you enjoy it?
I found comfort in the words so yes I did. It made me realise that even though I am going through many trials right now, like Isael, God will not forget His convenant to me. He is faithful to all those He calls His own. He will save me and bless me with all that I need.

How old are you?
I am 26 years old in Australia but 27 in Korea. Crazy I know.

If you could live in any country where would it be?
Right this second anywhere but Korea. I know that is a bit of a lame answer but it is a truthful one. So here is the better answer.

I love Australia, England, Italy, Switzerland, France, Holland, Greece, Scotland, Wales, Ireland (never been to Canada or the US so not sure about them and am hoping to get to NZ one day soon as well as Singapore...). I have travelled but I now realise that I want to live near the people I love. Lame answer again but I have my reasons. You can make friends anywhere but too find people who love you when your hair is a mess, will pull you to safety when your ship is sinking and will hug you when you are ready to bite their head off is not so easy. People like that are a God-send and should not be thrown away or moved away from, unless it is the will of God.

So one day, Lord willing, I will marry and live where ever with my husband but before then I am going to head home to the ones I love - Australia.

Yeah, I'm 25 in China! Korea must be the same, you are 1 when you are born.

Do you watch the World Cup?

If yes, do you think Korea will make it into the 2nd stage?

If so, how far do you think they will go?

Do you like hamburgers?

Nah but I am following it which is a bit sad because I am not really a soccer fan. It's just that Australia is still in it and so is Korea so I have to keep on the ball so to speak!

If yes, do you think Korea will make it into the 2nd stage?
I hope so for it means a lot to them. I would love if they stopped playing the song and I was not impressed at being woken at 4 to the cheering of fans as they watched the game live from Germany.

I am not sure how far they will go. There are a lot of good teams out there and one can only guess when it comes to sport - it is who is best on the day not best over all. I don't want them to get as far as Australia but then I guess that is just being patriotic. My mind says that they won't win but they made it to the second stage so who knows?

Do you like hamburgers? :yum:
I love hamburgers! It was the one thing I made sure I ate plenty of before leaving Oz. I miss going to the local take aways and getting a burger with the works - bacon, egg, pineapple, betroot, salad and meat (with plenty of sauce). I would love to have one as well as a chocolate milkshake. Sadly the kimchi burger I had the other day didn't quite reach the spot :D
