I washed/cleaned my "paper mask" today....super easy

I have the bluish type of paper mask but it's pretty robust paper unlike literal paper or paper towel etc. I just mixed a small amount of bleach in some water and submerged it for 5 min and then hung up near a window with sunlight and a few hours later it was dry and clean (a little dirt got on from my hand I guess but that was gone) It's good as new. I have a limited amount of these so washing and cleaning is important to me.

we dont use masks in scotland we actually are okay except england they got it bad

Since the surgical masks are not available in any pharmaceutical store when the pandemic started, we are using a cloth mask and also washable.

I wonder if paper of similar quality can be found to make paper type surgical/medical masks?

Can you see any reasons why? Smaller cities?
