Hi guys. I don't know how many of you remember a thread a while back on whether or not God can lie. I argued that God could indeed lie but that he did not. I was very wrong. God can't lie. sorry to you all for expressing what was not truth.

whether God can lie or not...is not the real issue..but this is great that people can learn as we walk our journey...sometimes ppl are set upon what they feel are right and almost stubborn to it....but we have to be open to receive from God wisdom and understanding....

This forum is great that there are people from different places, backgrounds, many who are well read in the word of God...many who are annointed with wisdom and understanding, etc...we as a body can learn from each other

If God “cannot” lie (which He doesn’t) then how do you interpret “ALL” when Jesus said, “With God ALL things are possible.” Does all mean all or does it mean something else?

I realize we will never come to an agreement on whether God “cannot lie” (Titus 1.2 NKJV) or “does not lie” (Titus 1.2 NIV, NLT), but I am of the opinion that God can do anything. “With God ALL things are possible.”

Executing justice. And it's a good point. So are you saying that (applying it to the analogy) God has the authority to deceive by proxy so it's not really a lie?

A revelation? From God? Did she say it was a “revelation”? If she did, I did not read it.
