One of the key indicators of poverty is to be a single mother. In America, blacks are over represented in single mother statistics. Superficially, it seems that being black means that you are more likely to be poor. If you take out the single mother statistic, it paints a different picture.

Growing up poor feeds into other problems, such as criminal behaviour, incomplete education, drug habits and the mess that comes out of all those problems. Of course, that is not exclusive to blacks.

Women sell themselves short. They do not have to sleep around. They get no respect from men, only contempt. It used to be that a real man could restrain himself. Women, especially Christian women, should avoid pushy men like the plague. The great percentage of abortions are the result of sin, either fornication or adultery.

God does not make arbitrary rules. His will is the very best for all people. Society's intractable problems demonstrate what happens when God's principles are ignored.

The reason to avoid it is that sex is a personal thing to share with only one other person. It gets diluted very fast if spread around. Especially if you are running from one house to another to find all your kids. Or one state to another. Each intimate moment you have outside of a committed relationship is mentally stressing as well as disease prone. It's it rude to bring venereal diseases back to your main squeeze? Little bugs jumping from you to your honey pie. Then you have to share the news about the bugs, or disease, and the open sores...and stuff. Naturally you can dump the scrub relation ship....but your still stuck with the rot on your groin.

So why not sleep around? That covers it somewhat.
(Personally, I wanted to avoid rot on my groin.)

Yes, my wife and I slept together outside of marriage. But we've been married 25 years now so I was evidently pretty committed at the time.

Not all men are able to support themselves, much less a mother and child. A woman who has sex before marriage is not entitled to alimony when the relationship breaks up. Sometimes a married woman earns more than her man. The man may be entitled to alimony, if there is a divorce.

If a woman knows who made her pregnant, she may get a court ordered paternity test and mandatory child support. A deadbeat father may be arrested for nonpayment of child support. Some deadbeat dads moved to foreign countries.

There are women who lie about who the father is, to either preserve what they have or seek relationship-wise, or to target men who make money for financial support. Their claims could be verified with DNA tests, but the DNA tests themselves would need to be verified, as fake paternity test results can be obtained, and have been leveraged by women.
