I was just thinking and being thankful

I was just thinking how thankful I am for a forumn like this that is Christian and we can talk about our struggles with self harm. This came about as I remembered how I had been treated at another place that was christian but was not for self harm but in fact for other struggles.

It truly is amazing that this place exists. Before i came here I had almost given up. But we truly do need a place where we can be reminded of God's love and his word in this battle.

i go to some other amazing forums bout SI & get so much help but this ones great. I havent been very intouch with God for about a month & its good to have support here with christians, i think if i didnt have this site there daily to chat with people & b reminded of His love, I'd loose Him.

Yeah... this is the first Christian forum I've come to and been able to talk about my problems and not be criticized... Few other places have I been to where I don't get accused of not having enough faith and told to get rid of my meds and just get a boyfriend at church to set me straight (Uhm, how is that supposed to fix me? lol) which of course just stirs up negative emotions and makes me wanna you-know-what.

Hi Berry,
Guess who's back!!!! I need to stay in here and visit again like I use to because it is a Christian place and we can talk so freely about spiritual matters and how they affect the way we think and feel about ourselves and that affects how we treat ourselves as well.
