I was fired, I'm lost

I was fired from my job at local bank yesterday due to coming in late to a shift after being warned and suspended. I never intended to make these mistakes, my memory along with my preoccupation with all my other recent problems has left me in a fog and I stopped concentrating on work. Now i've lost my job of 2.5 years... my job was kind of the only thing in my life. I don't know what to do now... pickings are really slim and I can't seem to find a job with decent pay. I'm completely lost, I don't know where else to turn but to God to guide me through this.

Please pray for me, that I may be able to find a new job and find a new direction in life... the direction God intends me to go. I want my life to make sense, I want to take this situation and turn it around into having a completely clean slate... to be able to start over and do it right. Pray for me please!

Sorry to hear about your job, but it just might turn out to be a blessing in disquise because you are doing the best thing you can do, you are lifting this up to God in prayer, he knows your heart and he wants what is best. Keep the faith and give him the glory.

Father, thank you for joining us in prayer for it means you are already working on this. In Jesus name I pray that THY will is done in our sister's life. Lead her to an even better job than she lost and may she give you all the glory. Give her guidance in keeping her new job regardless of her circumstances, and remind her that you never give us more than we can handle. Amen!
