  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a praise report!-I was baptized this evening 2 hours ago in fact :)

Although I was baptized as an infant I know that to be in accordance with the will of the Father you should be baptized after repentance and salvation. Its been a while since I repented, and today was the day that I was baptized and fully immersed in water. I am now officially dead to sin and alive in Christ! I just want to thank God that I was able to do this after all this time and that He has accepted me as His own.

I have been thinking about being baptised as an adult myself. I've been thinking and praying about it. I, too have been baptised as an infant, and have indeed invited my Lord into my heart. (almost on a daily basis...because I'm so in love with Him) I haven't decided yet...and your note helped me bring it before the Lord again. Congratulations. Pray that I will be able to do what Our Lord desires concerning this. In His Name, Kaylee.
