A person doesn't need degrees to be led by God's Spirit. Those called are already priests and are called to preach the good news to the world. However, our witness to the world envolves so much more than our mouths, and a steady quiet life of doing good deeds and watching after the lives of those around us speaks more of Christ inside us than going to a street corner and being labeled as one more Christian nut case. I'm not saying that a person might not be able to do just as you propose, but I've seen more turned away by agressive robotic handing out of literature and cliche' Christian phrases than brought in. It says so much more when a person lives the life by being a servant to the community and being know by the works that they do in the Lords name. The Bible says this:
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
2 Corinthians 3:2 Ye are our epistle (open letter) written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
EPHESIANS 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to DO GOOD WORKS, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Proverbs 31:8-9 Speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitue. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
1 Peter 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
The visible Church has a poor reputation before the world and it is reflected by the condition it is depicted in by Revelations account right before the Lord returns, as greedy and self-serving, but the Church that gets little notice quietly goes about the everyday business of leading Godly honest lives of service - loving their neighbor in truth and ACTION and thusfulfilling the Royal law.
James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
I JOHN 3:16-19 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can. the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with ACTIONS and TRUTH. This then is how we KNOW that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us.
Acts 19:36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
1 Timothy 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Where ever God leads you, I would that you be obedient and successful in your endeavors for Him.
