  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Did anyone else think this was supposed to be vaguely prophetic? I can't tell if it's supposed to refer to these end times, to the Second Coming of Christ, or the AntiChrist.

Pretty sad, huh? Still, any comments would be appreciated.

I read some awesome comments/reviews about the movie about how Keifer's character is symbolic of God; because he seems to know everything about the guy-in-the-phonebooth's (GP) life, and he tries to get the GP to confess his sins or he's going to take him out.

Well, I don't know about symbolic about the Anti-Christ, Christ, etc. If that's the case, then the same can be said for Saw. Highly intelligent, seemingly all powerful being does something to change someone's life for the better. If not, they perish. Something along those lines.

Meh it was okay. I didn't see any God thing though, and I still don't think it was intended to be like that. I think it was just a creepy guy obesessed with people who live a sinful life. I don't think God would stand there with a gun and make us confess our sins or shoot us, or our wife, or girlfriend. It was a good movie, but it got a bit boring from time to time. The end was okay, but I totally guessed the twist. I hate it when it's obvious. :)
