Actually I think it is the poor who are demanding affordable housing and not getting it; the middle income and rich are responsible for the prices going through the roof. If those people quit buying houses for more than the asking price, the prices wouldn't be going up so much.So they’re 50% bigger and they’re twice as expensive, accounting for inflation. What people are demanding today is affordable housing, and we’re not getting it.
Things began to improve before Trump took office.I've provided 2 links that showed when Trump entered office and systematically began dismantling the regulations Obama put in place, that the economy began to improve. If you want to make the claim that things began to get worse when trump did this, you need to provide some links or something other than your word that makes your point.
I don’t think people of middle income are paying more than asking price for homes very often, but rich people snapping up houses as “investment properties” has certainly contributed to the problem.Actually I think it is the poor who are demanding affordable housing and not getting it; the middle income and rich are responsible for the prices going through the roof. 1. Housing that's more than a tent
2. Food that's more than Ramen noodles
3. Health care that's more than a go-fund-me account
Workers lost their bargaining power when the self esteem movement turned "one for all and all for one" into "me me me me me".
In a global economy, as long as some are willing to/forced to work as slaves, we will all work as slaves.
The links I provided showed things had began to level off around the last year Obama was in office, then began to improve again when trump took over.Things began to improve before Trump took office.
Never said they “got worse”...now you’re being dishonest. I said they have CONTINUED WITH THE SAME TREND. No sign of any “strangulation “ ending, as you falsely claimed...just like your hero.

This link shows the unemployment rate went from a high of 10% in 2010 to 5% in the middle of 2015. It remained there till approx 3/4 the way through 2016. Then the next 2 years it began to drop to below 4%.That's a lie. These are the only links you've posted in this thread and none of them even come close to saying that:
Compare Today's Unemployment with the Past

Are Wages Rising or Flat?
U.S. Unemployment Rate Drops To 3.7 Percent, Lowest In Nearly 50 Years
In fact, those links don't even try to say that; and I and a few others here have pointed out repeatedly why they can't be interpreted to mean that.
Your claims are demonstrably false. You repeat things that you can't substantiate. Like so many TrumpFans before you, everything you believe on this subject is a fiction.
The person I was responding to said;Nobody is saying Trump made things worse. Everybody is saying that he didn't make things better; rather, he just maintained the status quo. I don't know why this is so hard to understand. You say you look at trends, but then you just blatantly mischaracterize what the trends show. Do you really not understand how to read a chart or are you trying to deceive us?
Is this the chart I provided? I cannot click on it. If so, do you see from 2015 - 2016 where it remained approx 5%?View attachment 271978
Here's a chart chowing the unemployment rate since 2007. Perhaps you could point out where this "leveling off" occurred.
I see the same graph in your link--different source, but both originate from the bureau of labor statistics and show the same downward trend from about the middle of Obama's first term. It flattens a little after 2016, but nothing significant. No, I don't see a flattening of the curve during 2015-2016. In general, the assertion frequently heard from conservatives that unemployment didn't begin to drop until Trump took over is--to put it as nicely as I can--nothing but a bald-faced lie.Is this the chart I provided? Post #237 you said:
Because it didn’t! The trend lines established under Obama have simply continued...except where they’ve weakened..!
Those were your exact words. Except they’ve weakened, if that doesn’t mean things got worse, what does it mean?
