I am sorry to say I might not meet the "gets along with other faiths" requirement. I have been discussing issues of the reformation on too many threads in GT!

Besides the fighting with Payattention issue.

The truth is, maybe we don't have a candidate yet.

Interesting indeed..... I wonder if I became a Mod would everyone run to the hills.... I have the post requirements, just not the time.... It will probably make some folks nervous even knowing that I could contemplate such....

Of course I get along with people of other faiths well.... it seems that its some people here I don't get along well with... some would even view me as the Dennis Rodman of this forum, bad as i wanna be.... can't we just get along?? such is life....

Who is worthy? Then the issue is if the Mod is adventist will they be partial to all views or will they be biased toward or against a particular view... That may or may not be a real issue for some (i.e. me. if there is a ultra-conservative as a mod, my days would be numbered no doubt) time will tell....

I think I could do a great job as a moderator. Except for one thing...negativity. I have a real problem with constant negativity, constantly overlooking anything positive to go straight for the negative gets to me in a very short period of time.

It's not different views I have a problem with so much as in how they are expressed.

But hey, at least I know my weakness and admit it, right? LOL

They have an excellent candidate, and always have had in PaleHorse. While he has, at times, (what I call) had to put some "in their place", he has done so without resorting to "ugliness". As far as theology goes, you couldn't get any better in my humble opinion.

As I know of his moderating skills on another site, I have no question in my mind of his ability to be fair.

Objectivity is the key. One can only wonder how many of our "family or friends" would be objective? What has our experience shown us?
