In my prayers. I don't think there is anything wrong with desiring to be home with the Lord. It seems to me that God often uses hard circumstances in our lives to draw us closer to Himself as our our greatest desire and remind us that this world is not our home. Nevertheless, I will be praying that as long as He has you and your wife here that He opens the right doors for you to find answers and relief for the health problems and pain your are dealing with and to be able to make the move to N.Y. closer to family and fellowship according to His timing and will. God bless.

There comes a time when the lord leads us through a valley, to show us the power of praise. Let go of the church, and hang on to Him directly and personally.

You have done step 1 and covered all of your issues with prayer. Time for exercising your faith in praise. Prayer sometimes keeps us focused on our real issues and negative mindset rather than the power, possibilities, and the undeserved love of God.

Step 2 is praise. The Lord responds to praise. Cease to pray now, and praise Him for everything that comes to your mind even if it feels contrary to how you feel emotionally. The Holy Spirit will guide your thoughts and they might seem shallow at first, but continue to allow your thoughts to be led by Him. The new levels of positive gratitude, inner peace, and humility that slowly develops will amaze and heal you. Trust Him during this new phase. Start right away. Be ready to fall in love with God and yourself again.

My only "advice" is to remember your relationship with God is based on His promises not your feelings. Please don't confuse how you feel with who you are in Christ.

Hi Folks,
Thanks so much again, sorry for not checking but I have not been feeling well at all, so I have been in bed. Last week I had a PET scan looking for tumors, so I ask for prayer that the Lord gives me answers and comfort.
On the good news side, I have found a new primary care physician, finding one has been difficult.
