"Okay, I know this might sound a bit cliche, but I think I've committed the unpardonable sin ..."

No offense - but I think a lot of Christians on this forum need to re-calibrate. You have NO idea what really BAD is. But if you want to get started with the adjustment process, do some volunteer work in some decaying urban areas. How about doing missions work in a bad area of Baltimore? As a warm-up, watch "The Wire" on HBO :)

The amazing thing about Christianity is that we worship a God who will redeem us. No man or woman is beyond redemption. God can reach into the heart of even the "worst of the worst". I truly believe that. It is perhaps the most inspiring thing from Christ's ministry.

Don't get hung up in a pity party.
Fix what's wrong and move on!

blasphmeme against the Holy Spirit seems to be more of a choice of not accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and our Savior. Like Jesus said, blaspheme against the Son will be forgiven, so there's more to it than just saying or thinking something bad or wrong. I mean He even says blasphemy against Him will be forgiven. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is rejecting the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit's testimony that Jesus Christ is the true Son of God and our Lord and Savior. Wasn't it Paul who was persecuting followers of Christ? Obviously he said and thought many things bad about Jesus then too! But he goes on to be a follower of Christ and writes in part of the Bible. As said many times in the Bible, belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, as the Son of man, as our Lord, as our savior, will save us. Believe and repent, my brother. God is our Father, how much more forgiving and living is He than any earthly father! Think about that. GOD loves us and is patient with us and wants us repent and turn away from our wickedness, He wants to forgive us and give us salvation. Accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, as the true son of God, accept offer of forgivness to those who believe and you are not committing the the unforgivable sin. Rejecting GOD's offer of forgiveness by not believing te truth of Jesus Christ is the unforgivable sin. Jesus tells us in Luke the parables of the lost coin, the lost sheep, and the lost son..all of which were found and therefore celebrated for. I pray that I have spoke truthfully and accuraty through guidance of the Holy Spirit and that I helped you out. God Bless
