John 11:26: "And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?"
To most of us never is a very long time. It is interesting to note that the Greek word translated here as "never" is a Double Negative. My! How is that for empahsis? It is of even more value that Jesus is the One Who said it. Jesus used a double negative to emphasize that we, who believe in Him have eternal life, and shall never die.
Thank You, Father, for not only the gift of eternal life, but the revelation of these Words of Jesus, in Whose Name we give thanks and praise. Amen.
