I saved someone from dieing

This was last night...

I was on the beach, there was a huge surf and I saw a yaught in the water about to capsize. Onboard was someone screaming.

Everyone on the beach was just standing there because the waves were to big so I ended up swimming ot the yaught. Suddenly I was on the deck of the yaght and their were huge waves everywhere, the people were dots on the beach in the distance.

I followed the guys voice and then I found him... except it was just his head, he was talking and everything but had no body, his eyes looked really freaked.

Suddenly out of no where came another person who seemed to want to help, so together we picked up his head then I was thinking what we should do to get his head to the beach without drowning him (seeing as he didnt ahve body) then suddenly the other guy snatched the head fully off me and threw it against the yaght, blood went everywhere and his head droppped into the ocean. I was shocked. I was prepared to save him no matter what or no matter how stuffed up he was.

Then I woke up and suddenly felt terrified. It was lucky I fell asleep again...

So yeah.. that was my dream

Man, i don't know but i wonder if my dream and yours have something to do with our Backslidings.


You say you are a Backslider, well so am i.


Tell me about your backslidings. What's your Chrisitan life been like? How'd you get saved, etc..

Yeah this seems related - I read your post.

It was very cloudy just like your dream. It was almost foggy as well. The sea was roaring.

I know in the past I have had bad experiences with the sea but it has not once scared me away. I might post this some other time but I nearly drowned once - to the point where I was just about to go to heaven, then someone saved me and I was really annoyed that the did. Maybe that's why I love the sea so much - I'ts like I'm steering God in the eye. Have you had any experiences like this?

My background is:

Non Christian up to the age of 15. Have had a rough ride until my current age of 19.


Easily lead to the Lord. Someone at school mentioned that God was real and that I should go along that Sunday.

Converted genuinely and sleeked God however I wasn't informed of his ways or why I was saved therefore I fell many times.

Went to a Pentecostal Church. Had all sorts of encounters etc. Ended up burning out.

Went back to drugs and alcohol.

Came back to the Lord.

Started going to a Baptist church recently. Trying now to locate a church, which has the best of both extremes. Failed in that search so far.

Have some expectations that someday God is going to use me to bring Unity to the body of Christ.

Have a passion for souls and I used to pray all the time for people and see my prayers come true.

That's it in a very basic nut shell.
