I'm definately going to see this, looks good. Unfortunately, has Will Smith in it, that's the only thing wrong with it.

Did I hear someone say Will Smith IS a robot??

They'll be saying Gordon Brown - (UK Chancellor) - will soon run UK with a laptop linked to a few AI 'puters... :priest:

Then the EU.. ;)

Then the world...

Okay..so I am a Will Smith fan...he is a great actor and I like him. I am investing a lot in this movie...I have a suprise birthday party for my BF that starts out going to see this thing on opening night. So it had better be good. If it turns out to suck I will be very disappointed but at least I tried!

While I hate to bash a movie I haven't seen, this movie looks like it will b*stardize the the classic Asimov book. I wrote a thesis about I, Robot and I can tell you that from seeing the gun wielding Will Smith as well as the short clips of attacking robots in the trailers this movie will completely miss the soul of the book. If you want to make a cool action/robot movie, call it something else, not the name of a classic science fiction piece that explores the depths of the human soul.
