John 9 verse 25 "He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind but now I see."
I have been preaching for over 17 years. During this time, I have preached at many places....churches, street corners, radio, nursing homes, fields, and private homes. Out of the hundreds of sermons the Lord has allowed me to preach, only two people have ever sent me a thank you card. One was from Mrs. Taylor. The card she sent me greatly encouraged me. This was over two years ago. Four weeks ago, I had the special privilege of preaching on her funeral.
On September 21, 2004, I received a thank you card from Ms. Krause, a resident of the nursing home where I preach. The sermon I had preached was on the above scripture. This card of thanks touched me in a special way, and I would like to share her words with others.
The card said in her words "I feel blessed that you helped my faith in Jesus to grow and have a stronger trust. Oh how I love Jesus. I believe He loves me. Your words, music, and example spread His love in my cold, stony heart and set it aflame to love my Lord who died for me. I pray for a childlike trust and that I will be washed in the ocean of his mercy. Thank you for your book(the one I had written), and the tape of music. They are inspirational and uplifting and I look forward to your sermons."
This card really blessed me and was confirmation from the Lord that He wanted me to preach at the nursing home.
