Hey Saramae
Trust those who seek the truth and doubt those who find it and that should protect you from what Jesus warned about would happen in the last days in Matt. 24. Notice how many are calling in the streets here is the Christ or here is the truth. Come to this or that Church or follow this or that teaching. I will try to help you as beast I can from 17 years of seeking the truth because my heart feels for you after reading your post.
Grab a quarter and hold out in front of you. We live in a world of polarity. Everything has an opposite and all these opposites are always pulling at us because we have all this polarity inside us too. The world is always screaming at you to pick heads or tails, light or darkness, good or evil, etc. That said listen to these words of wisdom from Jesus Christ:
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the way that leads to destruction and many are those that go by it. But narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it. Tell me Saramae, when you hold that quarter in your hand which side shows the narrow way, heads or tails? Neither right. They are both a path to the grave because either way you flip that coin you will always be divided against yourself and humanity. But if you turn that coin on its edge you will see inside the illusion of duality there is always a third option. Heads or tails they scream at you. Does in not take 3 dimensions to have one coin.
My point is simple. All polarity exists as one coin. Deuteronomy 30:14-15 says The Word is very near you. It is in thy mouth and in thy heart so thou may do it. See I have set before you this day life and good death and evil. Jesus Christ is the Word and according to Ephesians the Word is the Sword of the Spirit. It is a double edge sword. And just aside the reason for all this polarity is without controversy great would be the mystery of godliness (that is another verse).
