  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I need this, please.

:help: So I am thinking of talking to my best friend about one of my deepest secrets. But I don't want it to hurt our friendship. But omething came up in a conversation, and I feel it might be a good idea to tell him, but there is still that one question, Will our friendship still be the same or will I scare him off? Please let me know what I should do. and please pray for this.:prayer:

Reading your words, I believe I know what you're talking about...

I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ that he grants your friend the Wisdom to accept the news wich you bring him. To understand what your saying to him, because you value his friendship.

I pray for the Lord to give you strength to be able to handle this situation. For the Lord will not put something in your path that you can not handle.

And I pray that the Lord will grant you both the power of forgiveness.

In the name and blood of Christ
:amen:

Lord, we ask that you would guide your son now, that you would give him the courage to do whatever uit is that you are asking of him. we ask that you would help the words be said with love and care, and that hid friend would know this. we ask that this mans friend would have a greater understanding than he could ever imagine, and that this would be through you. we ask that you would not let the friendship change through this, unless it becomes stronger and grows. Amen
