I need strength

I have been struggling more than ever before, between what I KNOW is right and what I feel is right. God wants to mold me as He pleases and I have been resisting it. Please pray that I will be putting my faith in God and that He will provide me with the strength to move ahead and do what He wants me to do. I've been sitting on my hands long enough - it's time to get busy.

God is the Potter; I must learn how to be the humble clay.

You've humbled yourself before God seeking his guidance. He always hears our prayers but this is close to his heart. Don't let it trouble you that you seemed pulled in two directions, God is stronger than any obstacles Satan can put in our way and loves us enough to even let us stumble on the obstacle to pull us back to his will. A perfect heart is one who seeks God's will, accepts it and carries it out with a glad heart. But to come to this place it takes experience in your walk with God that it's even possible. You've taken the first step...the Lord will take the next!

Heavenly Father, You are the author of our faith. Thank you that you love us enough to admonish us when you feel we may be going down the wrong road. Johannes is struggling between doing things his way or your way. Please give him the strength to ask for your will and the courage to accept it. If he needs more experience about why he should choose your road and not his give this to him. Give him a discerning, patient spirit to wait on you as you teach him what you want him to know and which way you're leading him. Humble him before you as he desires and clear his mind of his own wishes that he may hear your words and your words only. Mold him according to the desire of your heart. In Jesus' name, Amen
