well like the posters said i think its a glitch in a game and not an actual world. And maybe something left over from the programmers

Like one of the posters said it was a glitch created by the game genie. I have had this happen on many occasions with game genies on gameboys and nes. It happens when you pop a certain code in wrong or simply randomly punch in codes. Nothing more than a glitch...I would bet that none of the levels even work correctly if there ARE even levels. This glitch can also be created by tapping the nes console. Many times it will just freez but it can cause a crazy world to pop up...such as the water land world in Super mario 1. As for the game its rather easy to come by. I have seen at least 4 copies in a single pawnshop. Ebay is another good source as you can buy whole systems and bundle packs of these games that would likely come with many games...however these bundle packs can be rather pricey as harder to come by games like the Ninja Gaiden series or the arcade games/Galaga, Pacman or the Link 1 and 2 or any of the popular games will likely jack the price up quite a bit. Or you could go the illegal route of downloading emulators and ROMS. I am not gonna give any names of sites where you can obtain these but they are incredibly easy to obtain. Just google roms. Older Roms for nes or snes make a little more sense to obtain because they do not make any of these games anymore or are just impossible to obtain, but stealing is stealing in the eyes of God and the FBI lol. Just dont go down that route. They are legal if you own the games but noone who DLs these roms actually own the games they are stealing right?

Ummmm.... Hello? Ever heard of the Nintendo Wii? How about the Game Boy Advance? Nintendo has been and is making older games easily available for these systems. Hense the reason why they are active in shutting down websites with these games illegally on them.

That is NOT TRUE. They are NOT legal even if you own the original games in many countries, INCLUDING The USA. Please get your facts straight before you giving false legal information like that.

In the past, even though it was not legal in many countries, many were able to justify downloading game ROMs to play on their computer (or X-Box, etc.) due to the fact these older games for older systems were difficult to come by. Since Nintendo (as well as Microsoft and Sony to a lesser degree) have been making older games available on their respective systems, downloading ROMs can no longer be morally justified (unless it's a rare game which hasn't been released yet, and probably won't). You can't even use the 'abandonware' claim anymore. It is stealing, pure and simple. If you really want to play something like Super Mario Brothers 3, then buy the Game Boy Advance cartridge (you can play it on your TV with a Gamecube via its' Game Boy Advance Player. I saw a Gamecube/GBA player/2 controllers/memory card/1 game set selling for only 4000 yen (maybe US$35) recently), or wait for its' release for the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console.

I am sorry for the misinformation. As for me I own super mario 2 in three forms so I just go from what I know. Snes Super mario allstars, super mario for the nes. As for the legal info here are 2 sites

NES- Super Mario 3
SNES- Super Mario Allstars
Gameboy Advance- I think it's on there too.
Wii- If it can download them in a legal ROM then whatever do that because its the most recent.

Don't DL them illegally as it is tracked, I really would not be surprised to see that any of these sites are actually made by the law enforcement agencies to catch criminals. Its incredibly easy to get SMB3, just go to EBay. God Bless.

It's all good. I just wanted to straighten things out. Nothing personal at all! Actually, I don't want to see CF being harassed by the American copyright groups because of anything posted on this site. Those guys are ruthless.

Gameboy Advance- I think it's on there too.

It is! It's sitting on my bookshelf right now.

Wii- If it can download them in a legal ROM then whatever do that because its the most recent.

I don't think it's been released yet on the Wii, but it will be for sure.

Thats cool, I really want to be able to play the Link 2 on a wii. That was a awesome game, a bit hard IMO but a solid game nonetheless. Sorry for getting off on the wrong foot. It gives me a good reason to get the wii now, I mean other than the fact it has Zelda and probaly gonna have metroid soon!

I have always been a fan of nintendo but lately it seems either it is just kiddy games or I have just kinda grown outta them. I really wanna see what if any metroid game will be like on the wii. It looks like an awesome system and is so much cheaper than the PS3 and xbox 360.
