I need prayers and help

I have a really confusing heart...

here's the deal,

I am "attracted" to girls but I don't WANT to be... and i don't understand my feelings... i mean, i have a crush on my best friend and she's a female.
I've been praying but it just seems useless.

But then again, I find myself dreaming about boys.. just like any other teenage girl would... but the other feeling confuses me so much.

I don't know what to say.

What do you mean by attracted? It it not wrong to have affectionate feelings toward a member of the same or opposite sex that you are good friends with. Affectionate does not translate into sexual.

my friend told me a secret that made me uncomfortable... so pray that i'll be able to.. pass this up....uh, not think about this.

Depending on how you're feeling for your best friend...what are you exactly thinking of when you think of your best friend?...it might be that you are having sexual feelings or maybe it's just a phase. The best thing to do is to turn your heart to Jesus and continue to pray about this. If you've decided that you don't want to be like this, then you also need to realize that God can give you the strength to overcome this. Jesus said the most commandment was to love people more than we love ourselves. Another example is when Paul was writing his concern for the Corinthians: "So I will very gladly spend for you everything I have and expend myself as well. If I love you more, will you love me less?" (2Corinthians 12:15) So if you are having sexual feelings towards your best friend, but you don't want to, you want to cover yourself in prayer and become closer to Jesus, you may also want to talk to grown up if you feel comfortable enough. It's normal to have dreams like your having, but its up to you to feel if you're comfortable enough having feelings for the same sex and you also need to decide about what God says of this. Father, I thank you for what you are doing in quichua_girl's life. I thank you God that the good thing you have started in her You will faithfully see through to the end. I thank You God that you have not given quichua_girl a spirit of fear but that You have given her a Spirit of Love, Power, and a Sound Mind.

I also thank You God, that the confusion in her mind and heart will quickly be dispelled as she draws closer to You. Not just asking You to help her Lord, but her getting to know you and learning how to worship You. God, Your word says, that if we submit to You and resist the devil that the devil will flee from us. We thank You God for that promise. We can depend on You God, that whatever temptation we find ourselves in, that You have provided a way of escape.

I thank You God, that you love quichua_girl and You gave Your all for her so that she could come to you without shame. You are willing to be her best friend. I thank You God, that Your love for us is everlasting and You will never leaves us or forsake us.
