So I have a followup in Vermont which I thought was a followup to see if I want the hole in my heart closed. Turns out that's not the case and as far as Vermont knows it's just a follow up appointment in New Hampshire.

Come to find out New Hampshire wants me to go there for an echocardiogram to make sure my blood clots are gone and to close the hole in my heart because vermont has no records of either things being done. We found this out because we called New Hampshire and it is a 5+ hour drive away.

So now I'm confused. Not only do I not know if I want to get my hole fixed but I don't want to go all the way to New Hampshire to get it done. I'd rather get it done in Vermont which is less than 2 hours away. So I guess I want prayers and advice on how to proceed further because, I'm lost on what to do.

Is there one cardiologist overseeing your condition?

Is there one cardiologist overseeing your condition?

Not since I've been hospitalized in New Hampshire. I saw a cardiologist then and it's the same doctor they want me to see for the echo. He put me on blood thinners until my follow up in Vermont and then wants to see me afterwards. I just have so many questions for the doctor when I see him whichever cardiologist i do end up seeing. Getting my hole closed is apparently serious business. From what Google tells me, people born with holes in their heart are at greater risk of heart failure. I don't want that.
