I've been struggling with sin and lust and worst of all porn and Iam tired of sining.I really need prayer for strength to resist sin and to have a closer relationship with the Lord G-d almighty.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The most important thing when trying to quit something is to rely on God. Also make it clear for you why you want to quit. Porn, as an example, is sinful and immoral, it also leads to exploitation of women and human trafficking.
Another thing that might help is to just flee temptation when it comes. Don't toy with the thoughts, thinking you can handle it. Just flee and go do something that requires your concentration. The first few weeks are always the hardest, after that it gets easier. Pray and talk to God constantly, cry out to Him for help. He is the only one who can set you free. When under temptation I've found it very helpful to just cry out, in your mind or out loud, "in the name of Jesus, get away from me satan."
And if you fall, do not start digging your own grave. Just pray for forgiveness from God and Jesus, get up, and continue stronger than before.
