i need prayer

hi i am christian and I love the Lord with all my heart but yet i used to be gay and i realized it was wrong about 3 days ago and broke up with my boyfriend because he broke up with me but i was sorta planning to break up with him so if you wouldnt mind please pray and if you have a story like mine about being gay or lesbian we can pray for eachother and with the Lords help we can fight through this the devil almost got me all the way but i am still recovering and i still feel little gay so please pray for me

While I understand your fears, it is debatable whether that is in fact a sin, at least based on what I have read from the bible. In any case, you can change how you react to certain situations, although you can not change the fact that you are. If you seek to rid yourself of your will to follow out your desires, then you have my prayers.

It doesn't sound like you were ever gay at all to me, you were simply in a sinful relationship. There are 3 types of homosexuality (at least in my mind), those that feel that way from a very young age( usually something abusive happens to them), those who feel gay during teenage years only (simply caused by hormones and confusion) and those now a-days choose to be gay because it's "cool" (although these are mostly women, a very small about of men are involoved too).
But I am by no way putting down your delieverance! Praise God that a brother was brought to a place of refuge so quickly! It's taken me a good year to learn to control my mind and bring it under Christ so I do not have thoughts about women.
I am simply saying that pehaps you shouldn't worry because you are just going through a phase that may no longer exist when you are 25. But weather it's a phase or something truly wrong, it is always difficult to deal with. You are in my prayers, continue to praise the Lord for his good work!
